Hanif Rayani

Hanif Rayani, Co-founder of HippoCampus Hub was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and attended Mount Royal University. Hanif has held various positions in his 30 years of working directly with people and understands that it is one of the most important roles in a company’s success. Whether it’s a customer or an employee Hanif has built a reputation for being a people person and has coached many individuals to reach their own personal goals and achievements. A father of two, Hanif is involved with his kid’s activities and academics, volunteering where he can and helping coach his children in their athletic pursuits. He spent the last 8 years understanding that children are far more capable and resilient at a younger age than most adults. Having a passion to influence younger generations for a better world tomorrow, Hanif is always looking for opportunities to give every child a fighting chance in this crazy world of ours. Taking a big interest in self-discipline and learning methods on how to self-control, Hanif notices a big gap in knowledge when it comes to this field for children and parents. He wonders how different his life would be if he was taught these things as a child, knowing that Emotional Intelligence is key to a successful life and has more emphasis nowadays than Intellectual Intelligence in the business world. Gaining a better understanding of how our bodies and mind work in harmony, Hanif received his certification as a child nutritionist in 2015.

A Leader in a communication company for the past 14 years within many departments, Hanif has driven key projects and programs includes those designed to improve efficiencies in the business resulting in economic gains. Earning numerous accolades and prestigious awards within the company -Customers First Champions; Leading Stars; Unsung Hero Through training and coaching Hanif has driven his teams to improve key business metrics through virtual education. Hanif understands that an employee’s wellness and state of mind is paramount in creating a great culture that allows innovation, creativity and risk taking. His approach to leadership and people has earned him team engagement scores above 95% for 10 years in a row! Hanif believes that each day is an opportunity for learning and growth and that his responsibility as a leader is to make the people he interacts with better, understanding that this world would be a better place if we judge less and try to understand more!
